Common questions

Can you work from our architect's hardware schedule?
Yes. We are happy to work to an existing schedule, or to contribute to the specification where you would like our input on security and keying requirements. We can also flag any compliance issues we see before they become problems on site.
Do you supply hardware for fire-rated doors?
Yes. We supply and fit hardware that is appropriate for fire-rated doorsets, including locks, latches and exit hardware that meet the relevant Australian Standards. Using the wrong hardware on a fire door can void its rating, so this is an area where getting it right matters.
Can you key a whole new development to one system?
Yes. For new residential developments, unit blocks and commercial fit-outs we can design and implement a master key or restricted key system that gives each occupant their own key while allowing managed access for common areas and maintenance.
